I found your blog though a fellow named Arctic Patriot. Living in snowy places my entire life, it is always good to find out how other people do well in the cold outdoors, as there is always something they can teach you. I am also a student of the Finnish Army in the winter war, and Simo Häyhä is a great inspiration to me.
We also share the craft of blacksmithing, especially knife and ax making.
I have you on my blog roll at http://greenmnts.blogspot.com/ and look forward to learning more from you.
Well, the puukko arrived to me about 2 hours ago and i must say that it feels pretty much like glove, fits like one in my rather big hand more than well. It was a nice project as this was born without one blueprint this time. Previously i have drwan every knife, but this was born as a result of discussions, about my needs, and Tero´sopinions. I showed him knives that i like and some things that i definetely want in mine but the final shape, and all, was up to maker himself and i must say that i dont have anything against the results. I will be using this today, as i will be going fishing and making a fire, and then i know more about how it works.
